The western portion of Table Rock Lake spans quite a few miles to the north and south. This area of the lake is longer and narrower than the east and central sections.
Several rivers connect with Table Rock for outstanding fishing. This section of the lake offers a slower pace as you’ll find less development and more untouched hillsides. The terrain that surrounds you on this portion of Table Rock often looks more like a southern river with high rock bluffs. This portion of Table Rock Lake is perfect for anyone who wants quiet surroundings to focus on relaxation.

About Western Table Rock Lake
To the north, the James River flows into Table Rock Lake at Galena. Galena is known for its Spoonbill fishing season. Where the James flows into Table Rock, you often see kayaking and canoeing since the water is shallower and the lake channel is narrower.
Heading south from Galena, you’ll find the Cape Fair area. Another quieter part of Table Rock Lake, this area has quaint resorts and two marinas (Cape Fair and Hideaway), as well as boat-up restaurants. Continuing south, the waterway will begin to widen as you approach the main channel.
Continue west and you’ll be heading towards Shell Knob. Shell Knob is the largest city on the west side of Table Rock Lake. This community is nestled high on the ridge overlooking Table Rock Lake, and with countless stunning views. A large marina in this area of the lake is Campbell Point Marina. From Shell Knob, go south and you’ll find the King’s River, or go west and south to Holiday Island, Arkansas, which is near Eureka Springs. Both King’s River and Holiday Island have marinas to service you while exploring Table Rock Lake.
