Trails / Hiking

<Back

Lady hikingStretch your legs with a long walk at water’s edge or in the woods near Table Rock Lake. Miles and miles of walking and hiking trails are located within easy reach of the lake. Some trails are surfaced
for easy access for walkers, disabled visitors, and “street bicycle” riders. Others are more rugged for hikers, mountain bike riders or even horseback riders.

Ranging in length from about one-third mile to several miles, the walking trails are a great way to see hardwood forests, cedar glades, native grasses, creeks, “bald knobs” and all the flora and fauna that inhabit them in the Ozarks. Trails are open at all times of year.

Many additional miles of walking and biking paths are planned for development in the next few years. A group of volunteers make up the Ozark Mountain Nature Trails Association, which plans to help develop more than 150 miles of trails in the area near Table Rock Lake.
